Trina has exhibited in Africa, Indonesia, UK , Bangladesh, USA and the Pacific. She has exhibited with Group Sembelan (Nine) a women’s artist group in Jakarta known for it’s political comment. In both Indonesia (Group Sembelan) and Bangladesh (SHAKO) exhibited in Women against Violence exhibitions.

Trina is the illustrator of two Balinese Children’s story books, Balinese Children’s Favorite Stories and A Club of Small men. In Bangladesh she started to pursue an interest for portraiture.
The street life of Bangladesh, the daily commerce of people making a living inspired her to get to know the flower sellers, weavers, musicians and bird sellers. Painting these people became the subject of her Dhaka exhibition and the subsequent book Street traders of Bangladesh.

"New work continues and includes not just big sky scapes of Scotland but also the naturally formed and man made havens of the Hebrides and coastlines. Contrasting large skies with calmer interior waters, make for interesting studies of land and sky. Notebooks fill up and transient seasonal colours noted. The palette is an earth toned landscape one with more than a nod to the colbolts and then..the orange. The canvas’s grow larger and sketch books seem to fill themselves.
Time now to paint."
